Let's work together to secure the Territory's water future.

We all have a role to play in ensuring we have enough water for the Territory's future, and together we've made some important ground in cutting back on our water use over the past 10 years.

However, Territorians still use more than twice the amount of water as the rest of Australia. The Northern Territory isn’t immune to changing weather patterns and population growth is placing greater demand on our water resources. That’s why we need to keep living water smart.

Power and Water undertakes a range of water conservation initiatives such as our That’s My Water! school education program, our targeted commercial and industrial engagement, our work across all levels of government, and our community awareness and education through the Living Water Smart program.

All of these initiatives are combining with the aim of reducing water use to help secure our water future.

Explore below to learn how you can save water, save money and help secure our water future.
