If you don’t have reticulated water to your property, you may be able to access one of our water filling stations in your area.
We have a number of fill points located in the Darwin region, Katherine, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek.
If you do not have the ability to transport potable water, you should contact a local water cartage specialist who can provide this service to you.
When applying for access to a water filling station, you should consider the suitability of the water vessel you intend to use to collect and transport water as well as health and safety.
To access our water filling stations, you should apply for a customer swipe card.
Ensuring safe drinking water
The provision of safe drinking water is of highest priority.
Backflow is the unwanted reverse flow of potentially contaminated water back into the drinking water supply.
All connections to the water supply system must employ a water meter to record consumption and backflow prevention measures.
Unauthorised connection to the water supply network is a contravention of the Water Supply and Sewerage Services Act 2000 – penalties may apply.
