You can report a power or water fault online, as well as public faults, damage and safety hazards.

We will process your online report during business hours, 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

To report an outage outside these hours, please call 1800 245 090.

Quick steps before you report a fault:

Step 1. Go to our new outages and faults centre to check whether our crews are already aware of the issue

Step 2. Use our quick fault checklist to help determine the cause of the problem

If you see a life-threatening or dangerous situation such as a powerline on the ground, call 000 or the Power and Water emergency line on 1800 245 090 immediately.

This form is for:

Reporting unplanned power or water outages

Reporting damage to Power and Water property or infrastructure

Do not use this form if it is a life-threatening or dangerous situation

Do not use this form if you have been disconnected for non-payment

Don't touch fallen powerlines, keep others away and immediately call 000 or Power and Water's emergency line 1800 245 090

If there is anything that you think we should know that would help us to locate or understand the issue or fault please let us know
