What is the prize?

We are giving away 2 x VIP Refresh tickets and a Jungle Giants side-of-stage experience for two at BASSINTHEGRASS on Saturday, 18 May 2024.

How to enter

You must have an active Facebook or Instagram account, be aged 18 or over, and live in the Northern Territory to enter this competition.

You must leave a comment on the BASSINTHEGRASS competition post on the Power and Water Facebook or Instagram page from 8am (ACST), Friday, 10 May 2024 until 8am (ACST), Sunday, 12 May 2024, that lists the 2 ways Power and Water helps refresh people at events across the Territory.

You may only have one valid entry in this competition.

When and how are winners determined?

The names of everyone who leaves the correct answer will go into the draw to win. A winner will be picked at random using an online tool.

The winner will be notified by direct message from the Power and Water Facebook or Instagram account and their name published on our public-facing social media channels.

Winners must respond to us by 5pm (ACST) on Monday, 13 May 2024 to accept the prize.

What is included in the prize?

The winner will receive 2 x VIP Refresh tickets and a Jungle Giants side-of-stage experience for 2 at BASSINTHEGRASS on Saturday, 18 May 2024.

Minor Trade Lottery Conditions

  1. ‘We’, ‘our’ and ‘us’ means Power and Water Corporation, Level 2 Mitchell Centre, 55 Mitchell Street, Darwin.
  2. ‘Terms and Conditions’ includes these Minor Trade Lottery Conditions and information about the competition (including information in social media announcements about the competition).  If there is a conflict between any information about the competition and these Minor Trade Lottery Conditions, these Minor Trade Lottery Conditions take precedence.
  3. By entering the competition you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions and you consent to our collection, use and storage of your entry information, including personal information, to contact you about the competition and to post your name on social media as part of the winner announcement promotions.  Our privacy policy is available at powerwater.com.au/privacy.
  4. An entry is deemed to be received when we receive it, not when you send it.
  5. We may, at any time, verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entry that is invalid, has been tampered with, or is otherwise not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. If the competition is interfered with in any way, or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated for any reason, we may, at our discretion, disqualify any entrant, or modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition. Our decision is final and binding.
  6. The winner is responsible for contacting us to accept the prize within the timeframe indicated above. If the winner fails to accept the prize within the timeframe, the prize will be forfeited unless you have already declined it or not accepted it in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. If any prize is declined, not accepted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or forfeited we may, at our discretion, redraw the prize.
  7. Prizes may not be sold, are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.
  8. All additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of a prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  9. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we have no liability arising in tort (including, without limitation, negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss or profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, without limitation:
    1. for any delay or failure to deliver or collect a prize;
    2. for any other failure by us to comply with the Terms and Conditions;
    3. for any variation in prize value from that stated in the Terms and Conditions;
    4. arising from use of the prize;
    5. for any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    6. for any entry, prize, or claim for a prize that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether before or after receipt by us) due to any reason beyond our reasonable control; or
    7. for any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under our control).
  10. These Terms and Conditions do not limit, exclude or modify any non-excludable statutory guarantee under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other statutory warranties (whether express or implied) which cannot be excluded.
