The tap water is still safe for people to drink, except for bottle-fed babies and pregnant women, who can collect bottled water. Tap water can be safely used for washing, brushing teeth, cooking and all other household uses.
👷♂️Update 24 August, 9.45pm: The fault at the water treatment plant is affecting the look and taste of the water in Ali Curung. The tap water is still safe for people to drink, except for bottle-fed babies and pregnant women, who can collect bottled water from the clinic. Tap water can be safely used for washing, brushing teeth, cooking and all other household uses.
