Our sewerage pump station renewal program ensures that critical infrastructure is regularly assessed and maintained, and continues to operate safely and without impact to customers, stakeholders and the environment.

As part of the renewal program, Power and Water identified the Tiwi Sewerage Pump Station for renewal to maintain delivery of safe and reliable water and sewerage services to customers including the Darwin Hospital Precinct (Royal Darwin Hospital and Darwin Private Hospital), Tiwi and parts of Brinkin.

About the works

The project works include refurbishment of the pump station building, electrical upgrades and fabrication and installation of new pipework infrastructure.
