More Territory students than ever before will learn our water story and how to save water with our That’s My Water! educational program expanding to include Years 3 and 4.

The program invites students and schools to work alongside our STEM professionals to address the issue of water sustainability in the Northern Territory.

Celebrating 10 years this year, That’s My Water! delivers a 10-week program in collaboration with schools, teaching water literacy and encouraging an interest in STEM careers.

Manager, Water Demand, Joel Spry said, ‘Celebrating 10 years of That’s My Water! is a massive achievement with more than 6,500 young Territorians taking part to date. This program is about more than education – it’s about building a lifelong understanding and respect for water in our unique environment.’

This term, 14 schools are taking part in the program, which builds on other initiatives from Power and Water, and supports the Northern Territory Government’s Territory Water Plan, teaching participants how important water is and how we all play a role in saving water for our future.
