Applications are open for Power and Water Corporation’s Community Partnerships Program. The annual Program supports Territory organisations delivering initiatives that make a difference to the lives of Territorians.

Support of up to $5,000 per project is available, from a total of $50,000. The Program has supported more than 150 community groups across the Territory, helping them deliver events, programs and activities that enrich community life and strengthen the Territory’s unique lifestyle.

In addition, Power and Water also supports community events by providing portable water trailers and water refill stations free of charge.

Power and Water Chief Executive Officer, Djuna Pollard, said the Program has a long history.

‘Our Community Partnerships Program has been supporting community initiatives for more than 20 years. It’s a great way for our organisation and our team to give back, with many partnerships involving volunteer opportunities for our people,’ she said.

‘We’re particularly keen to hear about initiatives that foster a meaningful collaboration or connection with our organisation and the role we play in the Territory.’

Southern Cross Kids Camp Northern Territory was a 2025 Program recipient. Director Lisa Burgan said the support was a boost for the organisation.

‘It was such a blessing to receive $5,000 through Power and Water’s Community Partnerships Program,' she said.

‘Our not-for-profit organisation delivers camps that provide vulnerable children with opportunities and an environment that supports life-changing experiences.’

Applications are open now and will close at 5pm on Friday, 14 November 2025. Funding will support initiatives delivered between 1 January and 31 December 2026.

Priority will be given to applications that demonstrate meaningful collaboration or connection with Power and Water’s services or values.
