The provision of accounting specialists that will provide a complete range of accounting and financial services and advice. The primary user of the panel will be the Finance and Business Unit but ad-hoc services may be required by business units across the organisation.

Advisory Services

Capital Structure Advice - Involving the research and preparation of business cases associated with PWC’s capital projects and programs. It also includes financing advice and the evaluation of project recommendations.

Financial and Data Analysis and Modelling - Including data analysis and support and advice on the interpretation of financial statements and related data, to assist PWC in its financial planning, resource management and decision-making.

Development of Accounting Policies and Procedures - Including advice on the formulation and implementation of accounting policies and procedures in accordance with legislative requirements.

Assistance in the Preparation of Financial Statements and Annual Reports - Including assistance with the preparation of financial statements and annual reports in compliance with the requirements of the Financial Management Act and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Management Accounting Services - Including provision of advice and support on cost accounting, project accounting, budget formulation, forecasting and reporting, as well as development of complex budget proposals or business cases not of a capital nature.

Accounting Advice - Including advice on the accounting treatment of large transactions, budget and cash flow management and advice on management models for facilities.

Taxation Advice - Including advice on State and Commonwealth tax legislation and its impact on PWC’s performance and operations, and related reporting requirements.

Additional panel members may be added at any time at the discretion of Power and Water.

Power and Water may appoint additional members to the panel under the same assessment criteria contained in the original Request for Tender.
