Borroloola is growing and we’re supporting this growth with a major upgrade to the Borroloola Power Station.

With several requests for new power connections from health services and commercial enterprises, the upgrade will support economic growth and ensure the community’s essential services are equipped to meet demand now and into the future.

The $4.14 million project will include:

• A new generator
• Expanded fuel-storage facilities
• Upgrades to transformers and switchgear.

These improvements will boost the station’s capacity and reliability, ensuring families, businesses and health providers can continue to access the power they need.
