Power and Water Corporation (Power and Water) has received national recognition at the 2025 Australian HR Institute (AHRI) awards for the impact of its leadership and development programs.

Power and Water’s Chief Executive Officer Djuna Pollard was named the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Executive Champion of the Year, with the organisation also a finalist in the HR Leader of the Year (Sarah Bass, Senior Manager People), Best Leadership Development Strategy, and Best Learning and Development Strategy categories.

The recognition reflects Mrs Pollard’s focus on driving the organisation forward through strategic leadership, building workforce capability and fostering an inclusive workplace.

Mrs Pollard said the achievements reflect the organisation’s collective effort.

‘Every day, I am proud of our people’s commitment to delivering the essential services that make a difference to the lives of Territorians, and I know how important it is for our workforce to reflect our diverse community,’ she said.

‘I am passionate about building meaningful career pathways and opportunities, and seeing our people thrive in a supportive, high-performing and future-ready organisation.

‘This national recognition is a testament to the dedicated and shared effort of our teams to making Power and Water a great place to work.’
