More than 2,750 customers have had power restored in Katherine township with 47 properties remaining without power.

Properties damaged by flooding will require a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) from an NT-licensed electrician before power can be safely restored.

A temporary bypass remains in place on Giles St, and residents are requested to stay clear of the operational area.

No customers are affected by the disruption to sewerage services.

We are continuing our efforts to safely restore essential services across the Big Rivers Region.

Access to some communities remains an issue due to flood water and ongoing severe weather conditions.
