Restoration focus tomorrow

Restoration efforts will continue tomorrow, with our focus on complex repairs to major infrastructure on the backbone of our network. Crews will be working in Ludgate Street, Braitling, Kennett Court, Ciccone, and Ragonesi Road, Ross.

We are aware that properties have also been affected in several remote communities, including Hermannsburg and Wallace Rockhole and restoration efforts continue in these areas.

Given the extent of damage, it will take some days to restore power to all customers.

We appreciate the impact of extended power outages on homes and businesses is frustrating and thank customers for their patience as our crews work to safely restore services.

Important safety information for customers:

  • Stay well clear of fallen   power lines and damaged electrical infrastructure. Always assume power lines   are live.
  • Do not attempt to remove   fallen trees or branches from power lines.
  • Customers who rely on   electrically powered life support equipment should activate their emergency   management plans. In a medical emergency, call 000.
  • Customers whose electrical   service lines have been damaged or disconnected from their homes may need a   registered electrician to inspect the damage and provide a Certificate of   Compliance before power can be safely reconnected.

Our priority remains restoring power as safely and as quickly as possible.
