Power and Water has welcomed Mr Andrew Macrides as our new Board Chair.

Andrew brings a wealth of leadership, governance and commercial experience to the role, with an extensive track record across the infrastructure, utilities and public sectors. His expertise will provide valuable guidance as we continue to deliver secure, reliable and sustainable essential services to Territorians.

We look forward to working closely with Andrew as we advance our strategic priorities, including strengthening energy and water security, supporting the Territory's economic growth, and delivering value to customers and communities across the 1.3 million square kilometres we serve.

We also wish our retiring Board Chair, Mr Peter Wilson AM, the very best as he leaves our organisation after more than 4 years.

Peter has been instrumental in guiding our organisation through several high-priority governance reforms and infrastructure projects as we continue to modernise our operations and systems, and focus on making a difference to the lives of Territorians.

Among other things, under Peter’s leadership we have delivered the Manton Dam Return to Service project, which is almost complete, focused on developing our people, launched our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan and advanced the complex matter of separating the Northern Territory Electricity System and Market Operator (NTESMO) from our organisation, to help modernise the network and create an independent operator to manage the electricity market.
