Have a say in shaping our services for the Territory. We’re bringing together Territory customers to share their experiences, priorities and perspectives and help inform the future of Power and Water services.
The People’s Panel is an ongoing forum where members can learn more about our services, discuss issues that matter to customers and communities and provide feedback on our future planning and regulatory proposals.
The People’s Panel will bring together a minimum of 25 residential customers, business customers and advocacy groups from across the Territory.
Members will share their experiences and perspectives on provided services and explore important issues and trade-offs.
The Panel will help us better understand what matters to our customers and communities so their perspectives can inform our planning, services and regulatory proposals.
You don’t need to be an expert in electricity or water. We’re looking for people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
As a People’s Panel member, you can:
We’ll provide clear, plain-English information to help you participate and contribute to the discussion.
The People’s Panel is an ongoing commitment, rather than a one-off consultation.
Members will generally meet at least 3 times a year for a term of up to 3 years. Meetings may be held in person, online or in a hybrid format, with some reading and preparation between sessions.
Residential and eligible business customer members will be paid for approved meeting and preparation time. Approved travel will also be supported.
