Development Services bulletin 2025

Our Development Services sections will be closed from 4.30pm Monday 8 December 2025 to 8am Friday 2 January 2026.

Making early arrangements for handovers and submissions will be appreciated and will better enable us to respond and assist with your requests.

Please note the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) advice for the tropical cyclone outlook, including the closure period, and ensure your sites are prepared and secure. Please also ensure that any proposed connections or interactions with Power and Water assets are made safe and secured.

Water Services Connection Code

The Service Development team administers the Water Services Connection Code and associated activities. This includes asset creation, design and construction process for the corporation’s water supply and sewerage supply infrastructure.

Development Assessment Services (DAS) released the following news on the www.ntlis.nt.gov.au/planning website

Friday 21 November 2025

For planning scheme amendments, rezonings, concurrent applications and designated developments (prescribed by section 7 of the Planning Regulations 2000), the last advertisement for 2025 will be published on Friday 21 November 2025.

Friday 9 January 2026

The first advertisement for all applications for 2026 will be published online Friday 9 January 2026.
