👷♂️Update 25 August, 4:30pm: We are continuing efforts to complete repairs. We will be back at the clinic in the morning providing bottled water for residents while we undertake testing at the treatment plant.
👷♂️Update 25 August, 1:00pm: As part of our repairs we are draining the ground-level tank to flush the system. This could take several hours and you may see water running through the community. You will still have water in your home and packaged water is still available from the clinic until 4.30pm for bottle-fed babies, pregnant women, medically vulnerable residents and anyone who does not like the taste of the tap water. Thank you.
👷♂️Update 25 August, 11:00am - While we fix the problem, we are providing free packaged water through the clinic for bottle-fed babies, pregnant women and medically vulnerable residents. Please collect the water from the clinic by 4.30pm. The tap water is disinfected, so everyone else can still drink it, and use the water for washing, brushing teeth, cooking and all other household uses. However, as people may not be used to the different taste, we are also providing free packaged water for residents who don’t like the taste. Please collect from our representative outside the clinic by 4.30pm. Thank you for your patience.

The tap water is still safe for people to drink, except for bottle-fed babies and pregnant women, who can collect bottled water.
