Jabiru connections and disconnections

Jabiru electricity connections and disconnections are usually actioned on Wednesdays. However, during the 2-week Christmas period (21 December 2025 to 3 January 2026) Jabiru electricity connections and disconnections will be carried out on the following dates only:

  • Tuesday, 23 December 2025
  • Tuesday, 30 December 2025

To be included on either date, we need to receive your application by 12 noon on the Monday prior.

If any electrical works have been undertaken on a premises a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) must be supplied to us before power will be connected.

In Jabiru, Power and Water manages the electricity network and also sends electricity bills. Our contractors will read your meter, and you will receive your bill directly from us.

The normal Wednesday connection and disconnection schedule will return from 7 January 2026. We must receive applications by 12 noon on the Tuesday prior.

Power and Water contractors will read the property power meter and customers will receive their power bill from us.
