Trade Waste Code 2025 consultation

Trade Waste Code consultation

Power and Water Corporation is reviewing the Trade Waste Code, which was last updated in 2017, and outlines the requirements for businesses that discharge trade waste into the sewerage system. The Code is approved by the Utilities Commission and helps ensure that discharges are managed safely, sustainably, and in line with regulatory obligations.

We are now seeking feedback from customers, industry members, and stakeholders on the proposed updates to the Code. Your input will help us refine the changes and ensure they are practical, clear, and effective.

By completing this survey, you are contributing to the consultation process and helping us improve the way trade waste is managed in the Northern Territory.
