If you rely on bores for your water supply, here are some helpful information while we continue to restore power to areas affected by Cyclone Marcus.

Our crews will continue to assess damage and will progressively restore power as soon as possible. We would like to advice our customers that the extent of the damage means it could potentially take several days to fully restore services to some areas.

Following advice from Power and Water, the Department of Health has issued a precautionary advice for drinking water for the Darwin and the greater Darwin region, including Palmerston. This is due to a disruption in the water supply as a consequence of Tropical Cyclone Marcus.

This evening, 29 January, the Darwin River Dam reached capacity and has started to spill.
