Minor Civil and Hydraulic Works and Services

Work that may be issued under this Supplier List comprises the provision of civil and hydraulics repairs, maintenance, minor new works, and servicing to water supply and sewerage infrastructure throughout the Northern Territory, including regional and remote communities.

Under the current NT Government commitment to support Remote Development, Power and Water has been engaged to manage the establishment of new water and sewer service connections in the remote communities. Works would include extensions of water and sewer infrastructures as well as establishing new service connections to individual lots.

Suppliers must be Accredited Power and Water Contractors to be appointed to this list.

The accreditation process aims to improve the quality and safety of the design, construction and certification of water and sewer infrastructure gifted to Power and Water Corporation. The accreditation process will include ongoing assessment of contractor performance. It will also assist developers in choosing designers, contractors and certifiers with suitable expertise and qualifications to undertake the works to a high standard.

Anyone undertaking design, constructing or certifying water and sewerage assets to be gifted to Power and Water Corporation will require accreditation.

Conditions of tendering/quotation are standard conditions that outline the rules that apply to suppliers and the Power and Water Corporation when conducting a procurement process.
