Cyclone Helen Power Restoration Update #8

Power and Water advise that individual households still without power need to ascertain if the power line has been pulled away from the fascia of the house by storm damage.

If the power line has been pulled away from the house it is essential the householder call a licensed electrician to check for damage and provide a certificate of compliance.  Power and Water cannot reconnect the house until this has been issued.

Residents are asked to do this as soon as possible and then advise Power and Water that they have the certificate, so power can be restored to them.
