Leanyer Ponds ‘des res’ for large crocodile?

While it may not be the ideal weekend coming up for bird watching enthusiasts at one of the top 10 spots in Australia, Leanyer Ponds, Power and Water Corporation advise that the ponds will be closed until further notice.

A large crocodile has been reported as having taken up residence in the waste water treatment ponds and Parks and Wildlife have been contacted to investigate the sighting and if necessary, trap and relocate the crocodile.
