Power and Water sponsor the 783 ABC Alice Springs Central Australian Garden Competition, providing two $400 cash prizes – one for each of the winners of the Best Arid Zone Garden Competition in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek.

Power and Water is pleased to help spread the message about good arid zone gardening practices, especially conserving water.

Water conservation is an increasingly important issue across the nation, and Central Australians are at the forefront of smart gardening - which helps to reduce water use.

Through the Best Arid Zone Garden Competition we want to recognise and reward people who are doing the right thing by the environment, and also showcase the techniques they use to create beautiful, livable, sustainable gardens.
