Action-packed Weekend at Freds Pass Show

The thousands of people will enjoy all the fun of the 2006 Freds Pass Rural Show this weekend, thanks to a little help from the Power and Water Corporation.

Power and Water is once again sponsoring the Rodeo, which will take place over both Saturday and Sunday.

Power and Water’s sponsorship manager Donna Boyce said the Corporation was delighted to help support one of the highlights of the rural calendar.

“The rodeo is billed as a highlight of the Show’s calendar of activities. It is an action-packed event and run by the National Rodeo Council of Australia,” said Ms Boyce.

“Power and Water will also have an information stand at the Show, to promote the works that Power Networks are carrying out to reduce power outages in the rural area.

“We are also working with COOLmob to give people the chance to win one of five free household energy audits.

“These audits allow people find out just how energy efficient their homes are and also provides them with tips on cutting back on power use.

“The Freds Pass Show is a fantastic event that is a lot of fun for all the family. We’re pleased to be a part of it.”
