Christmas is coming... and so is the Palmerston City Concert Band
Festive cheer will hit a high note later this week, with the Palmerston City Concert Band visiting houses in Darwin and Palmerston that have been decorated with Christmas lights to ‘Let Santa hear where you live’.
Palmerston City Concert Band’s President, Carol Atkinson, said the band will visit as many houses as possible from this year’s entrants to the Power and Water Corporation’s Show Santa Where You Live competition.
“We will use the Tour Tub to take the band from house to house, entertaining residents with Christmas favourites,” said Ms Atkinson.
“We will be in Palmerston on Thursday 14 December and in Darwin on Saturday 16 December, performing between 7pm and 9.15pm.
“Listen out for the Tour Tub, which will be brimming with fun-loving musicians intent on celebrating Christmas, as we make our way through the suburbs. You won’t be able to miss us!’’
Power and Water’s Show Santa Where You Live competition winners were announced on Tuesday night.
