Supporting a Bucking Good Time for Tennant Locals

The Power and Water Corporation is again a proud sponsor of the annual Barkly May Day Muster – which this year was postponed due to the big Wet Season, and will be held in conjunction with the Barkly Campdraft Association’s ‘Goldrush Campdraft’.

Organisers are hoping for another successful western style horse sports and rough-stock riding event.

Power and Water’s Tennant Creek Area Manager, Col McKenzie said the Corporation was proud to support this local event, and specifically the Junior Rodeo Training School.

“Last year’s rodeo training school was a big success, and allowed young riders from the district to learn the finer points of competing in various rodeo events,” said Mr McKenzie.

“This weekend is a highlight of the Tennant Creek social calendar, and Power and Water is proud to get involved.”

The Junior Rodeo Training School will be held on Sunday 8 October.
