NT Pony Club Dressage Championships
The Championship was held at the Darwin Horse and Pony Club grounds on the corner of Lagoon and Secrett Roads, Knuckey Lagoon, Saturday 2nd September at 8:30am. Results were: Champion Team and the runner up Darwin Horse and Pony Club. Champion age group riders were:
The highest point Horse/Rider Combination was one by Rachael Pen-Dennis who won every event she entered on Dilettante. Interstate Judges Mrs Jess Draper, an A Level Judge from Victoria and Ms Jenny Haines a C Level Judge from Queensland traveled to Darwin to form part of the judging panel.
Everyone was welcome to attend the Championship where cool drinks, snacks, tea, coffee and lunch were onsale.

Hosted by the Darwin Horse and Pony Club, this years championships saw Equestrians from across the Territory come together to showcase their talents in a competitive arena.
As the main sponsor, Power and Water provided financial support as well as water bottles to keep participants hydrated on the day.
The Competition was open to Pony Club Teams and Individual Riders in Preliminary, Novice and Elementary Classes. There were awards for Best Presented Team, Champion Team and for the Highest Percentage Horse and Rider.
Riders represented Darwin, Noonamah, Berrimah, Litchfield and Katherine Pony Clubs.
