Tennis Players to have a Ball

The Northern Territory’s tennis players will have every opportunity to court success over the next couple of months.

Power and Water has sponsored the NT League, to be held at local Darwin tennis venues from 23 July with finals on 10 September.

The Power and Water NT League will provide the Territory’s tennis community with an elite league competition and reserve competition.

The aim is to give local players, especially elite juniors, regular elite competition to assist their future development.

Power and Water Sponsorship Manager Donna Black said the Corporation was pleased to support Tennis NT in staging a league that will develop Territory players.

“Our sponsorship of the Power and Water NT League follows our successful involvement with the recent Junior Circuit from 6 to 17 July” she said.

“Tennis is a fantastic sport to be involved in at almost any age, at any level.”

“It’s pleasing to be able to help Territory tennis players develop their competition skills, and particularly to provide opportunities for elite junior players.”
