Water tariffs

Power and Water's water tariffs consist of two parts:

• A charge for each kilolitre (1000 litres) used,
• plus a fixed daily charge based on the size of the meter or connection.

Power and Water's fixed daily charge reflects the Council of Australian Government's agreement on water tariffs.

Government Usage Rate	79.47 cents
Plus a fixed daily charge based on the size of the meter or connection

26 - 40 mm	80.09 cents
41 - 50 mm	$1.2488
51 - 100 mm	$5.0453
101 - 150 mm	$11.2617
151 - 200 mm	$20.0259
Above 200 mm - proportional to meter size (POA)
Water and sewerage service charges
There are extra charges for some water and sewerage services. These include:
Connection	$55.00
Special meter readings requested by the customer	$50.00
