Power and Water attends Careers Expo

Power and Water has again exhibited at the Careers Expo.

Held last week at the Fannie Bay racecourse, the expo provided students, teachers and parents the chance to explore career opportunities as well as identify future career pathways.

A large number of Top End students gathered to get first hand information of possible employment opportunities and advice on careers.

Students were attracted to the model of the electrical network showing 11kV and 22kV lines. Power and Water staff talked to visitors about how the electricity network operates.

Power and Water joined many other contributors including education organisations, Government agencies, the private sector and recruitment specialists.

This is the last in a long run of Territory-wide regional Careers Expos where we have exhibited.
