Power and Water is encouraging customers to turn up the thermostat on their air conditioner and save money on their next electricity bill.

Electricity consumption increases by as much as 50 per cent at this time of year, as summer arrives in the Red Centre and the build up arrives in the tropical Top End.

There are alternatives to cranking up the air conditioner. For more information:
