The Swimming Northern Territory Power in the Water Series

Power and Water is pleased to support Swimming Northern Territory, the peak body for swimming in the NT and is sponsoring The Swimming Northern Territory Power in the Water Series.

The first meet of five in the Power and Water Corporation’s Power in the Water Series was held recently at Casuarina Pool in Darwin and we congratulate all competitors, especially Robert Gerlach of the Palmerston and Rural Swimming Club and Lily Burrow of Darwin Swimming Club.

Robert’s swim was under the Australian Age National qualifying time in the Boys 14 years age group and Lily’s time in the 200m Breaststroke was just 0.09 outside the qualifying time for the 2009 National Age Championships next April.

The next Power in the Water Series events will feature as part of the Katherine Birthday Carnival in two weeks time.
