Power and Water is pleased to sponsor the Darwin Festival, Galuka Gallery in the Botanic Gardens which is a free event.



For a number of years Power and Water has been a major sponsor of the Darwin Festival and is again proud to present the Galuka (Palm Tree) Gallery.  One of the highlights of the Darwin Festival set in the Botanic Gardens, it is called the gallery with no walls enabling visitors to wander at their leisure.

This year the Galuka Gallery features artist's etchings and Larrakitj (ceremonial poles) from the Baku Larrnggay Mulka Art Centre in Yirrkala . The works pays homage to their ancestors and the historic visit by anthropologists Ronald and Catherine Berndt in 1947.
