Alice Springs outage update

Power is progressively being restored to Alice Springs customers affected by an outage this morning.

Technicians are working on site and initial inspections indicate a switch on a 22kV busbar has failed, resulting in the outage.

This is affecting customers in parts of Bradshaw, Araluen, Larapinta and Jindalee.

Services to most of Bradshaw, Gillen, parts of Braitling and the rural area have been restored.

Power and Water regrets the interruption and thanks customers for their patience. Services will be restored progressively over the next hour.
