Electronic Meters – an electronic meter can provide more information, and is therefore more commonly used on large commercial premises. They are used for time-of-use metering, as they can be programmed to read the time of day or night as well as consumption. Pre-payment meter – these electricity meters use a power token, and are used in many remote communities. There are no connection fees, no bill surprises – and you use as much or as little power as you like.
