Power and Water has developed and approved the following procedural documents that apply to development activity and with which a proponent must comply.

This document sets out the general procedures to be applied to development activity.
A series of documents that provide advice to proponents to assist in meeting Power and Water’s procedural requirements. A number of these fact sheets have both technical and procedural elements and appear on both the Technical and Procedural Requirement pages.

Application for Water Meter - Multi-metering
This form should be completed by a landowner, or representative, and lodged with Services Development for assessment and approval.
Application for Connection of a Building to Sewer
This form should be completed by a proponent's constructor (plumber) and lodged with Services Development for assessment and approval.
Application for Water Meter - 25mm and Greater and Dual Services
This form should be completed by a landowner, or representative, and lodged with Services Development for assessment and approval.
Certificate of compliance
This form should be completed by a proponent of the development activity, or representative and lodged to Services Development when submitting request for acceptance of works form.
Field Return of tests and measurements
This form should be completed by a proponent’s surveyor, have it signed by a certifying engineer and lodge to Services Development together with As Constructed drawings when submitting request for acceptance of works form.
Notice of Intention to Start Work and Permit to Work
This form is to be completed by a proponent’s contractor and lodged to Services Development together with PWC approved drawings, Safety Managment Checklist and Safety Management Plan a minimum of seven days prior to start of works.
Request for acceptance of works
This form should be completed by a proponent’s consultant together with a certificate of compliance form and field returns of tests and measurements form and submit to Services Development a minimum of seven days prior to the proposed handover inspection.
Request for Works on and Connections to Power and Water s Water Supply and Sewerage Infrastructure
This form should be completed by a landowner, or representative, and lodged with Services Development to obtain a quotation for the works and/or connections.

This document details the new procedure for connections to and work on Power and Water's water supply and sewerage infrastructure. The new procedures are now in use.
Procedural Bulletin 2003 - 1 (September 2003)
This document details the proposed procedure for connections to and work on Power and Water's water supply and sewerage infrastructure. It is proposed that the new procedures be implemented on 1 December 2003. Feedback is sought from stakeholders by COB 31 October 2003. The procedures are now in use - refer Procedural Bulletin 2003-2
