Water Services Connection Code
Power and Water has published a Connection Code that seeks to facilitate assessment and approvals of new connections, upgrade of connections, increased loads and other development activity likely to have an impact on Power and Water's water supply and sewerage infrastructure.

Power Networks Design and Construction Guidelines
These Guidelines form the basis of accreditation by Power and Water of consulting engineers and contractors carrying out work in the industry. Such accreditation is mandatory from 1 January 2004. The Design and Construction Guidelines have been developed by the Power Networks business unit, and relate only to the Power Networks aspect of Power and Water's business.
Power Networks Distribution System Extension Policy (DSEP)
Power and Water's capital contribution requirements for electricity supply are governed by the Electricity Networks (Third Party Access) Act and Power and Water's Distribution System Extension Policy.
